Business Development Manager Northern Europe (F/M)| Scada

CONTEXT

CODRA is a French company renowned for its expertise in the development of supervision software solutions. With our Panorama software, we help companies and local authorities to manage and monitor their critical infrastructures. As part of our international expansion, we are looking for a Business Development Manager (M/F) to develop our activities in Northern Europe.

Reporting to the International Sales Director, your role will be to develop and consolidate our presence on the Northern European markets (Germany and Scandinavia) by working with our network of partners and distributors.

Your mission

Developing the partner network

  • Identify and recruit new partners (Integrators and Distributors).
  • Negotiate and manage partnership agreements.

– Promote and stimulate the partner network to drive sales.Prospecting and business development

  • Identifying and convincing new end customers in strategic sectors: Water & Energy, Construction, Food & Drink, Pharmaceuticals, Transport, Aeronautics, etc.
  • Promote the Panorama Suite and deliver high-impact presentations and demonstrations.
  • Represent CODRA at events and trade fairs to raise our profile,visibility and generate leads.

Customer management and follow-up

  • Build a lasting relationship of trust with existing customers.
  • Monitoring projects and ensuring their success.
  • Renewing contracts and guaranteeing a high level of customer satisfaction.

Bid management and reporting

  • Drafting commercial offers in collaboration with the sales assistant team.
  • Monitoring prospects and customers using Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
  • Regularly report sales activity to management.

This job is for you if:

  • You have a degree in industrial IT, automation, electrical engineering or technical sales.
  • You have at least 5 years’ commercial experience in one of the following sectors: SCADA systems, supervision and automation software, industrial IoT, industrial cybersecurity, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), BMS / BIMsolutions.
  • Comfortable with the understanding of technical specifications, draft a technical response and interact with a variety of people.
  • You’ll be able to work independently and be results-oriented.

Requirements

  • English/ French / German (C1/C2 level)
  • Hybrid work
  • Travel: +50% of the time in your sector + travel in France to the Group’s head office
  • close access to international airports (to meet the needs of the position)
