BEFESA VALERA, the European leader in the recovery of residues from stainless steel manufacturing, has a brickworks at its historic site in Gravelines. This workshop plays an essential role in the production process, as it transforms metallurgical dust into ingots that can be reused in steel production circuits.
COOX MES software was chosen to control this workshop.
The application implemented enables:
- monitoring and controlling production with a real-time view of performance indicators
- managing the centralisation of workshop data and optimising the planning of maintenance shutdowns
