Resource optimisation and energy efficiency

Fossil fuel sources such as oil, gas, and coal are often the main sources of energy in Africa. However, this makes African economies vulnerable to fluctuations in international market prices and volatility in commodity prices. In addition, fossil fuel energy production increases greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to global warming. Climate changes such as droughts, floods, and storms have impacts on food security, health, and livelihoods of African communities.
To get away from this dependence on fossil fuels, Africa wants to focus on digital transformation and turn to renewable solutions such as solar, wind, hydro and geothermal energy.

Case study : City of Cape Town

The Cape Town region, in recent years, has faced difficulties in accessing water. Faced with cutoffs in order to avoid Day 0, i.e. the moment when no more water is available, and faced with the undeniable fact of shortfall in water volume, the city has gone through serious crises and is therefore looking for concrete ways to deal with these difficulties.
In this context, the city has chosen Panorama to monitor its clean water distribution infrastructure in order to monitor and optimize the quantity of water available to its users. Our scada solution enables data to be collected centrally from 20 dams and distribution pipes in order to closely monitor its available clean water journey.

Panorama Suite can also be used to monitor and control energy usage across a wide range of industries. Whether you’re in manufacturing, healthcare, or any other sector, our platform can help you improve energy efficiency, reduce waste, and save money.
We are committed to helping you achieve your goals and meet your African energy challenges. At the Enlit Africa exhibition, Codra’s team will be on hand to answer your questions, provide demos, and offer personalized solutions to meet your specific needs.

This is the opportunity to take your resource management to the next level!
