What is the Panorama solution, and how is it comparable to the meaning of the word “panorama”?

The Panorama solution is designed to provide a 360° overview. Its purpose is to aggregate data from different technical system and to be able to send commands back to the various pieces of equipment that need to be controlled. In the context of safety-security , this involves integrating information from CCTV, access control systems, intrusion detection and fire alarms. The aim is to provide a global vision, akin to a cockpit, allowing remote management of a single site or of multiple sites.

Can you explain what is an Integrated SCADA solution ?

An Integrated SCADA solution can be broadly defined as a system to monitor and control installations remotely and centrally. Historically, each building had its own security station. Today, centralised security centres, equipped with Integrated SCADA solutions, are capable of supervising multiple sites simultaneously. For clients such as banks, for example, with extensive real estate, an Integrated SCADA solution aggregates data from various sites into a single location, enabling easier preventive or reactive decision-making during incidents.

Does Panorama have any cybersecurity certifications?

Yes, our products are certified by the French Government’s National Cyber Security Agency (ANSSI), in accordance with the cybersecurity requirements for France’s National Critical Infrastructures. Our Products also meet the European NIS 2 standard to ensure the security and reliability of our systems.

What business sectors do you target?

Our solutions cater for a range of SCADA sectors for wastewater treatment plants to nuclear power stations. Over time, we have tailored our offerings to specific sectors, such as safety and security, to meet our customers’ needs. Does a SCADA intervene before, during or after incidents?

A SCADA software plays a role at every level. Upstream, it identifies covered and uncovered areas, and detects weak signals to prevent risks. During an incident, it simplifies an operator’s tasks by collating information so that quick and appropriate decision-making can be made, while providing an overview. The system also provides ‘reflex files’ to guide actions. Finally, Panorama maintains a history of events, allowing incident analysis, so that electronic or human safety measures can be improved.

Can Panorama be adapted to the specific needs of IT Departments?
