Enlit Africa 2024 is a major event for the energy sector in Africa. The exhibition brings together a wide range of players: experts from the sector, suppliers of innovative technologies and political decision-makers.
It’s the place to be in Africa to explore the latest advances in renewable energies and find answers to the challenges of harnessing, producing and distributing energy.
As an exhibitor, CODRA can help you meet these specific needs with its Panorama SCADA platform. Our operational support solution assists local players in their transition to more sustainable energy sources.

Panorama, a SCADA platform for resource optimisation and energy efficiency
African economies have long depended on fossil energy sources such as oil, gas and coal, which exposes them to price fluctuations on the international market and to the volatility of raw materials. This dependence also contributes to greenhouse gas emissions, exacerbating the problem of global warming.
Climatic disturbances such as drought, floods and storms have a major impact on food security, health and the livelihoods of African communities, as they do in many other countries around the world.
To reduce this dependence on fossil fuels, Africa is looking to move towards more sustainable solutions, such as solar, wind, hydro and geothermal energy. This transition to renewable energies is supported by a focus on digital transformation, offering promising prospects for the continent’s energy future.
Customer reference : Cape Town
In recent years, the Cape Town region of South Africa has faced major difficulties in terms of the availability of clean water. The region has had to make repeated cuts in order to avoid the dreaded “Day Zero”, when water supplies are exhausted.
To deal with these crises and the alarming drop in water levels, the city of Cape Town looked for solutions. It has opted to use Panorama SCADA software to monitor its water distribution infrastructures, so as to be able to better anticipate the availability of water for residents. This centralised solution collects data from 20 dams and pipes to measure water levels and monitor flows.
The Panorama digital platform is also used to monitor and control energy consumption in various sectors of activity. Whether in industry, building, transport, etc., Panorama SCADA software will help to improve the energy performance of installations, reduce waste and optimise energy costs.
With its SCADA solution, CODRA is helping local players to meet the challenges of the energy transition.
At Enlit Africa 2024, CODRA will be on stand D31-Hall 4 to give you a demonstration of its Panorama Suite. If you are unable to attend this event, our teams are available to present our SCADA solution during a remote or face-to-face meeting.
